The Cordillera Blanca is the highest equatorial mountain range in the world, its snowy nevadcos providing fantastic alpine panoramas, including Peru’s highest mountain, Huascaran at 6768m. We trek among richly glaciated peaks and climb through beautiful sub-tropical valleys right up to the snow beside the highest peaks and enjoy some unparalleled mountain views.

 

ITINERARY:

Day 1 : Lima – Huaraz (3090m).
Day 2 : Acclimatization day.
Day 3 : Huaraz – Llamacorral (3760m).
Day 4 : Llamacorral – Taullipampa (4250m).
Day 5 : Taullipampa – Cachina camp (3710m).
Day 6 : Cachina camp – Molino pampa (3600m).
Day 7 : Molino pampa – Avalanche camp (4500m).
Day 8 : Avalanche camp – Yanayacu pass 4800m – Huaraz.
Day 9 : Huaraz – Lima.
